PBKS Crush LSG by 54 Runs in IPL 2026, Extend Unbeaten Run

Punjab Kings continued their strong run in IPL 2026 with a dominant 54-run win over Lucknow Super Giants in Match 29 at New Chandigarh on Sunday. PBKS posted a massive 254 for 7 and then restricted LSG to 200 for 5 to register another statement victory.


After LSG won the toss and chose to field, Punjab Kings were briefly under pressure after losing an early wicket, but Priyansh Arya and Cooper Connolly turned the innings around in explosive fashion. The duo added 182 runs for the second wicket, with Arya scoring 93 off 37 balls and Connolly making 87 off 46, powering PBKS to the highest total of the season.


Chasing 255, Lucknow Super Giants needed a special batting effort, but their reply never fully caught up with the required rate. Rishabh Pant, Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram contributed useful runs, yet Punjab’s disciplined bowling attack kept striking at regular intervals to stop the chase at 200 for 5.


The win kept Punjab Kings unbeaten and strengthened their position near the top of the table, while Lucknow Super Giants slipped to another defeat and remain under pressure in the tournament.
